A Spicy Spin on Traditional Tuna Salad

We’ve got an impressive and delicious recipe without the hassle of long and complicated cooking instructions! We invited Mary from Mary’s Whole Life to to share with us her Buffalo Tuna Salad recipe that puts a tangy and spicy spin on traditional tuna salad! It’s Whole30, paleo, keto-friendly and comes together in just 5 minutes!
Any other tuna salad lovers out there? I’ve always been a huge fan ever since I was little. This buffalo version has been my go-to as of lately. My absolute favorite way to eat it is with some Siete Foods grain free tortilla chips, but it’s awesome in lettuce wraps or regular sandwiches, and on top of salads, too! My favorite tuna is from Wild Planet Foods, which you can get at most grocery stories or through Thrive Market! Wild Planet’s tuna is cooked once in the can, which helps retain all of its natural juices and Omega 3 oils and basically keeps all the nutrition in. 100% of their tuna are caught one at a time by pole and line and this sustainable fishing method only catches smaller migratory fish that are lower in mercury. I love it because they hand pack each can with tuna steak seasoned with a touch of sea salt without added oil, water or fillers. I used Primal Kitchen mayo in this tuna salad and topped my lettuce wraps shown here with some Sir Kensington’s Buffalo Ranch (new obsession – it’s so good on everything!!) which is also Whole30 approved! This recipe is so easy and delicious – I hope it’s a helpful lunch idea for your busy weeks! Happy cooking (or chopping in this case!)
