Passed down over generations, Grandma's Tuna Bowl combines classic Japanese flavors like sesame oil, rice wine vinegar & cilantro with Tuna over a bed of rice.
3 (5oz) cans of Albacore Wild Tuna
1/4 cup Green onion, chopped
1/2 cup English cucumber, chopped
1/4 cup Cilantro, chopped
1 tbsp Sesame seeds
2 tbsp Sesame oil
1 tbsp Rice wine vinegar
3 tbsp Liquid aminos (or soy sauce - if you use soy sauce you’ll need to add salt to taste)
Chopped green onion
Drain the excess water from the albacore tuna and put into a large mixing bowl.
Add juice from two limes, green onion, English cucumber, cilantro and mix.
Then add sesame seeds, sesame oil, rice wine vinegar, and liquid aminos.
Mix together and serve over hot white rice.
Garnish with extra cucumber and carrots.
Top with sesame seeds and green onion - and enjoy!
