What we do to raise animals and harvest crops impacts both the land and the oceans. At Wild Planet, we consider organic agriculture to be the land-based equivalent of sustainable fishing. Therefore, we are committed to working with like-minded partners who farm organically to protect our environment while still providing you with the highest quality products.
Raised with Care
Our organic roasted chicken contains premium chicken raised on a 100% USDA certified vegetarian diet, consisting of soy and non-GMO corn grown on land that is free of chemical fertilizers, herbicides and pesticides.
Our organic beef is grass-fed on organic pastures and raised without added hormones or antibiotics. These practices not only add to the products’ naturally delicious nutrition, but also positively impact the health of our oceans by avoiding harmful contaminants that could enter our waterways.
Biodiversity: Where land and ocean meet
Our adoration for the planet runs deep. To protect our oceans, we must think beyond them. When land-based animals, such as chickens, are raised and harvested organically, these practices positively impact the health of our oceans too. For our land-based products, we only work with organic partners who avoid the use of herbicides, pesticides or chemical fertilizers that could enter our waterways and ultimately damage our oceans.
