What's better than a nutritious, high protein burger?!? This Korean BBQ-inspired tuna burger is gluten free and features avocado, fresh arugula, grilled pineapple and a Korean bbq sauce.
1 (5oz can) Wild Planet Albacore Wild Tuna
-OR-
1 (5oz can) Wild Planet Skipjack Wild Tuna
1 Egg
1/2 cup Breadcrumbs (gluten free if needed)
1 tsp Garlic powder
1 tsp Onion powder
2 Burger buns (gluten free, if needed)
1/2 Avocado, sliced
1 slice of Pineapple, grilled
1 handful Arugula
2 Tbsp Korean BBQ sauce (gluten free, if needed)
Preheat the oven to 400F.
In a large bowl, combine the tuna, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder and onion powder. Mix well until everything is combined.
Form the mixture into 2 tuna burgers.
Bake the burgers for 10 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
Serve on a bun with arugula, grilled pineapple, mashed avocado and Korean BBQ sauce.
