Ingredients

    For the Crostini

  • 1 (~10oz) Baguette, sliced lengthwise and cut into 2-inch pieces

  • Olive Oil for drizzling
  • 1 Garlic Clove, halved lengthwise
  • For the Whipped Feta

  • 1 block (4oz) Feta Cheese

  • 2 Tbsp Half and Half

  • Zest of 1 Lemon, divided
  • Juice of ½ Lemon
  • 1 tsp Honey

  • For the Garlic Herb Oil

  • 4 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil

  • 4 Garlic Cloves, minced
  • 2 tsp Fresh Rosemary, minced

  • 2 tsp Fresh Thyme, minced

  • For Assembly

  • 1 (4.4oz) can Wild Planet Wild Sardines In Extra Virgin Olive Oil

  • Fresh Parsley, chopped
  • Chili Crunch Seasoning

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F
  2. Drizzle baguette slices with olive oil
  3. Rub with cut side of garlic clove
  4. Toast for 5-7 minutes until golden
  5. In a food processor, combine feta, half and half, lemon juice, half the lemon zest, and honey
  6. Blend until completely smooth, adding more half and half as needed

  7. Heat olive oil in a small skillet over medium-low heat
  8. Add minced garlic, rosemary, and thyme
  9. Sauté for 2 minutes until fragrant and garlic is slightly crispy
  10. Remove from heat and stir in remaining lemon zest
  11. To assemble, spread each crostini with whipped feta
  12. Top with a Wild Planet sardine
  13. Drizzle with garlic herb oil
  14. Garnish with fresh parsley and chili crunch seasoning
  15. Serve immediately
