Ingredients

  • 1 (5oz) can Wild Planet Skipjack Wild Tuna

  • ½ pound Short Pasta
  • ½ Onion, diced
  • 2 Carrots, diced
  • 3.5 oz Shimeji Mushrooms
  • 1 cup Kimchi, diced
  • 2 Tbsp Butter
  • ⅛ cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 cup Chicken Broth
  • 1 cup Milk
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Mild Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  • Breadcrumbs for topping
  • Green Onions for garnish
  • Sesame Seeds for garnish

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F
  2. Cook pasta in salted water until al dente, drain and set aside
  3. In a large pan over high heat, melt butter
  4. Add onions and carrots, cook until onions are translucent
  5. Add kimchi and mushrooms, cook until mushrooms are tender
  6. Add flour and stir for 1 minute, coating everything
  7. Add chicken broth, milk, salt, and pepper
  8. Stir continuously for 5-6 minutes until thickened
  9. Turn off heat
  10. Add cheese, tuna, and cooked pasta

  11. Mix well until combined
  12. Transfer to baking dish
  13. Top with breadcrumbs
  14. Bake for 20 minutes until bubbly and golden
  15. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds
  16. Serve hot
