This flavorful Caprese panini, lined with fresh mozzarella, tomato, basil & high-quality Wild Planet sardines, is a grown-up version of a childhood favorite.
2 slices of Sourdough bread
1 Tomato, sliced
Mozzarella cheese, sliced
1 (4.4oz) can Wild Planet Wild Sardines In Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Butter or ghee
On one piece of bread, layer with sliced tomatoes, mozzarella, fresh basil, and Wild Planet Wild Sardines.
Top with the second piece of bread.
Add butter or ghee to the outside of each slice of bread.
Place the sandwich in a hot skillet, cooking until the outside of the bread is browned and toasted and the cheese is melted. Flip the sandwich and cook until the second side is browned and toasted.
