Niçoise Toast

Niçoise Toast is the well balanced lunch you need to try! It’s made with Wild Planet albacore tuna for a meal that’s high in protein and healthy fats. It’s paired with marinated tomatoes, red onions, hard boiled eggs, capers and fresh dill.

Tuna Recipes




  • 1 (5 oz) can Wild Planet Albacore Wild Tuna

  • 2 pieces of Pumpernickel bread, toasted

  • 4 Tbsp Garlic Aioli

  • 3 Eggs

  • 2 Tbsp Capers

  • 2 Tbsp fresh Parsley, chopped

  • 4 sprigs fresh Dill

  • 1 cup Tomatoes, chopped

  • 1/2 Red onion, sliced

  • 2 Tbsp Olive oil

  • 2 Tbsp Apple cider vinegar

  • 1/2 tsp Oregano

  • 1/4 tsp Salt

  • Pinch Red pepper flakes

  • Squeeze of Lemon

  • Cracked Black pepper to top

  • Garlic Aioli

  • 1/4 cup Mayo

  • 1 Tbsp Lemon juice

  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp Caper juice

  • 1 Tbsp Capers



  1. Make hardboiled eggs by bringing a small saucepan to a gentle boil and add in the eggs. Simmer for 9-10 minutes and then submerge into cold water. Peel shell, cut into quarters and season with salt and pepper. 

  2. Make the marinated tomatoes and onions by combining them in a bowl with the olive oil, apple cider vinegar, oregano, salt and red pepper flakes. Set aside and let marinate at least 10 minutes.

  3. Make the Garlic Aioli by combining the listed ingredients until smooth. 

  4. Assemble the toast with the Garlic Aioli spread on the bottom, then layer on the hardboiled eggs and chunks of Wild Planet Albacore Tuna. Then spread the marinated tomatoes and onions on top. Top with black pepper, capers, parsley, dill, and a squeeze of lemon. Serve and enjoy!
