Introducing your new favorite dish, Sardines & Greens Pasta. Smoked sardines, kale, dill, & a ton of garlic combine for an incredibly easy & delicious meal.
Sardines and Greens Pasta
Ingredients
Serves 3 people
2 (4.4oz) can Wild Planet Sardines in Extra Virgin Olive Oil, undrained
½ lb of pasta
3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
6 cloves garlic, minced
1 shallot, minced
2 ½ cups of dino kale, roughly chopped
¼ cup of dill
Directions
Prepare pasta as per packaging in salty water. Once cooked place on the side for later use.
In a large pan over low to medium heat add the olive oil. Once heated add the minced garlic, and shallots, and cook for 3-5 minutes until soft and fragrant.
Add the sardines with half of the oil and cook for another 3 minutes.
Add the kale and cook until soft, approx. 3-4 minutes. Add salt to taste if needed.
Add the dill and pasta, toss to combine.
1/2 lb of Pasta

2 (4.25oz) cans Wild Planet Wild Sardines Skinless & Boneless Fillets In Extra Virgin Olive Oil

1/4 cup of Dill
